Linda Gutierrez has Master in Arts in Counseling from the University of Phoenix and is currently a post adoption social worker with the REACH program.
Linda is bilingual in English/Spanish, has extensive experience in working with children, youth and families. Her passion in becoming a social worker derived from being a foster parent for over 12 years, where she mentored, and advocated for foster children that were placed in her home. Furthermore, Linda began her career as a FFA Social Worker working with foster youth and families. After a year, Linda transitioned to the REACH program where she has been able to work closely with adoptive families and their children. Linda provides direct services to clients, as well as adoption related education and she facilitates support groups. As such, she is experienced in assessing family’s needs, advocating on their behalf and referring them to resources in the community.
